It’s raining goals in M-League opener

Round one of the 2020 Ottimo House M-League finally kicked-off last weekend with an entertaining men’s clash between newcomers Ingleburn at home to Mt Annan at Macquarie Fields, pictured above. It didn’t take long for the Ingleburn to find their feet, taking the lead within the first 10 minutes. The Mt Annan Mustangs scored twice in reply to be leading 2-1 in the 77th minute. However a sensational Tretheway header late in the match ensure the points were shared in the 2-2 draw. In other men’s M-League 2020 matches reigning champions Gunners SC weren’t suffering any hangovers, as they put… Read more »

Maguire keeps changes to a minimum for Souths clash

Luke Brooks will once again steer the Wests Tigers around the park against Souths. Wests Tigers will go into their clash with South Sydney this Friday night full of confidence despite their 19-12 defeat at the hands of the Panthers last weekend. Battered and bruised after a fiery clash with Penrith, it looked like the team would lose at least three players through injury, along with the suspended Joey Leilua. But when coach Michael Maguire named his side at 4pm, all three players in doubt, Moses Mbye, Luciano Leilua and Sam McIntyre, were named in the 17 that will take… Read more »

It had to be. Rock bottom. After the week in hell. And so it was. In the deep north of Australia. More than 2,000 kilometres from Balmain. Even more from Campbelltown. About 50 more, give or take. It was 20-0 after 20 minutes, but most Wests fans would have believedRead more »
