Wests Group Macarthur have announced the appointment of a new chief executive officer.
Daniel Perkiss, who has 18 years experience in senior roles, the most recent being CEO at Orange Ex-Services Club and The Fraternity Club in Wollongong, will commence as Wests CEO on April 19.
Mr Perkiss, pictured, grew up in Wollongong and is married with three children.
He is planning to return from Orange to live in the Wollongong area.
His appointment was announced today by the chairman of the Wests board, Alan Buxton.
“I would like to congratulate Daniel on his recent appointment as chief executive officer and invite all staff and members of Wests to welcome him as we take this next step in our journey,’’ Mr Buxton said.
“On behalf of the board, we would like to welcome Daniel and thank our management and staff for their contribution as well as their continued effort throughout year.
“Under Daniel’s leadership, and together with the existing outstanding team at Wests Group Macarthur, we will continue to move forward in our mission by providing great facilities for our valued members and supporting our local community.
“Building on what we have already accomplished, we hope to hone our strategic direction, grow and develop our organisation, strengthen our partnerships, and build new relationships,’’ Mr Buxton said.
