The countdown continues to the start of the 2016 Festival of Fisher’s Ghost on Saturday, November 5.

Just six days into the festival, a ghoulish night of ghosts, zombies and paranormal characters is sure to entertain the whole family.

That’s when the Fisher’s Flicks outdoor cinema comes to Bradbury Park on Friday, November 11.

The free, double feature outdoor cinem will screen family friendly classics with a spooky twist.

This year’s films include Monster House and Beetlejuice.

Monster House, an animated children’s horror film, has 12-year-old DJ and his friends set out on an adventure to discover the secrets of the scary house across the street.

Families will enjoy this funny but frightful tale which stars Mitchel Musso, Sam Lerner and Spencer Locke.

The classic comedy/fantasy film, Beetlejuice, is about a couple who return from the dead as ghosts and haunt their former home.

When their attempts to scare away the home’s new owners fail, Beetlejuice, played by Michael Keaton, arrives to “help’’.

This year for the first time, the event will include a special VIP area for the winners of the Fisher’s Flicks colouring competition – which runs until October 24 – and other giveaways.

VIPs will be comfy on their very own bean bags and will enjoy the full cinema experience with ghostly snacks.

Movie-goers are encouraged to get into the spirit of this year’s festival theme, Ghosts, Ghouls and Graveyards, by dressing up and visiting the Ghosts and Ghouls Glamour face painting booth on the night.

Mayor of Campbelltown, Cr George Brticevic, said Fisher’s Flicks would be a great family night out at the movies.

Refreshments will be available for purchase, but bring your own chairs and picnic blankets to comfortably enjoy the outdoor cinema.

Movies start at 7.30pm.
