Effective sales pitch: we’d all love to know the secret to that

There are many challenges involved in making your own business a success. One of them is the sales pitch to prospective clients.

Unless you have some prior sales experience, you need to work long and hard to get your pitch right.

Obviously, the pitch is a very important part in making a success out of your business.

There are so many things to consider as part of the pitch: the quality of your service or product, competitive pricing, friendly service and engagement with a client are just some of them.

What I found is that the pitch is always going to be a work in progress as your business evolves or the industry you’re in does the same.

That’s why I am so looking forward to hearing a pitch expert for once and to measure where I’m at with this part of the business 10 years in.

The expert is Sarah Bauling, who is known as the “perfect pitch guru’’, and she is the guest speaker at the next dinner meeting of the Greater Narellan Business Chamber on Wednesday, May 8 at The Woodlands, Harrington Grove, 6pm-9.30pm.

Ms Bauling, pictured above, has more than 20 years of sales and marketing experience and knows the power a 30-40 second sales pitch can have on your business.

If you have just recently started a business and the pitch is one of the things you are grappling with, attending this chamber meeting is a must.

But I have no doubt even those, like me, who have been operating their own business for 5-10 years or more will benefit from the Perfect Pitch presentation by Sarah Bauling.

And what’s more she will share with the chamber members the perfect pitch blueprint to empower the rest of us to craft our own pitch and have it ready to deliver to our next prospective customer.

To book your place to hear Ms Bauling on May 8 visit the Greater Narellan chamber of commerce website here.
