Three players won’t be part of Macarthur FC next season, while a rising young star has signed for a further two years.
The Bulls have announced that they have reached an agreement with English Championship club Coventry for the transfer of Raphael Borges Rodrigues.
Macarthur FC will receive a fee plus a percentage of any future transfer amount.
The club has thanked the young winger for his contribution and dedication to the Bulls, on and off the field and wished him the best in his future endeavours.
Macarthur FC also confirmed the departure of forward Ali Auglah.
The club said Auglah was a vital part of the squad, contributing both in the A-League and the Bulls FC Academy sides.
The third man who will no longer wear the Bulls jumper is Jake McGing, who has retired from professional football.
McGing was a member part of the inaugural squad.
Over the past three A-League seasons, McGing was an important part of the defensive line.
“We sincerely thank Jake McGing for his contributions to the club, both on the field and in the community,’’ the Bulls said.
In positive news for the Campbelltown based club, rising star Ariath Piol has committed to the Bulls for an additional two years.
The centre-forward has been a pivotal player for the Bulls FC Academy side during the 2023 NSW NPL season and the 2024 League One Men’s season.
The 19-year-old also made his mark in the A-League, securing an important equaliser in the Bulls’ match against Adelaide United, even when the team was reduced to 10 men.
“All praise and glory to God for my blessings, I’m happy and grateful to have re-signed for another two years,” Piol said.
“I’ve enjoyed my time so far at the club and I can’t wait to continue on with the great group of players and staff that we’ve got.”
“I’m learning every day, and I’m looking forward to the next season and how I can add my personality to the squad and help the team succeed.’’
