Lorna Hollinger of Australian Tapping Institute has been named as a finalist in the 2017 Women with Altitude Awards in the category of Climb Every Mountain.
This award recognises businesses that are already climbing mountains despite still being relatively new.
Lorna is the founder of the Australian Tapping Institute, a personal development training facility focussed on advancing Emotional Freedom Techniques (Tapping) as a mainstream self-help technique to overcome many issues.
She has used it with clients for pain relief, to fears and phobias, to healing childhood traumas, to improving relationships, to help reduce body weight, increase body image and to quit smoking.
Lorna has been running her energy therapy and holistic healing practice for about six years from her Green Valley location.
As a featured columnist in Good Health magazine last year, Lorna said she “was totally over the moon when I found out we were recognised again’’.
“I have been so focussed on helping other people to get what they want so this is an exciting moment to reflect on the journey so far and look forward where I want the business to be in the future,” Lorna said.
The Altitude Awards are an opportunity to acknowledge women from small business, local entrepreneurs who have made outstanding contributions as; business owners, volunteers, employees, creative thinkers in retail, charities and community organisations.
