The Christmas spirit will go up a notch or two at Minto Marketplace tomorrow when Santa Claus arrives at the popular centre.

It will signal the official start of the festive season, including photos of your children with Santa, who says there is no need to book because he will have time for everyone between tomorrow and Christmas Eve.

Santa says he will also be happy to have photos taken with your furry friends, although bookings will be needed for that.

Also being offered this Christmas will be Sensory Santa photos before hours and with bookings essential via centre management or phone 9820 6405.

Then there is a chance to join Santa for breakfast in the food court for just $5 this Saturday, December 4 from 8am, with all funds raised going to the Starlight Foundation.

With limited space available, it’s best to get in quick and register your child in person at the centre management office during business hours.

Don’t forget that Christmas Carols will also be a feature of the festive spirit at Minto Marketplace during December.

Bring the family down to Minto Marketplace to sing along to your favourite carols or just enjoy the atmosphere while you do your weekly shop.

Another festive season service available at Minto Marketplace is the gold coin Salvos gift wrapping, perfect for the busy parents who don’t have a lot of spare time. All proceeds go to the Salvation Army Christmas Appeal.

Minto Marketplace is also giving their loyal customers a chance to win a new car, a yellow MG3 Core MY21, valued at $17,990.

All you have to do is make a purchase of $25 or more from any participating specialty retail store or $50 or more from Woolworths or Kmart within Minto Marketplace, fill out an entry form and staple it to your receipt and put it in the barrel located near the escalators. Entries close noon on December 24, with the winner announced on that day.
