When the chocolate high has started to wear off, turn to Campbelltown City Council’s Autumn School Holiday Program for a host of sweet surprises to help keep the kids entertained.
Mayor of Campbelltown, Cr Paul Lake, said the program provided families with a host of interactive and educational activities to choose from.
“Explore your creative side at Campbelltown Arts Centre with drama, music and art, or visit your local library for a chance to use your imagination and enjoy some free craft activities, take part in a science experiment or cuddle up ready for PJ Storytime,” Cr Lake said.
“For parents juggling work and kids over the holiday period, council offers a diverse program of events delivered by professional staff at our school holiday care facilities in Campbelltown and Eagle Vale, as well as through our Family Day Care services.
“Visit our Bicycle Education Centre for some ‘wheely’ good fun, enrol the kids in one of our intensive learn to swim programs, or choose from a host of other exciting options.
“With Youth Week being celebrated during the school holidays, there’s also a variety of events and activities for young people taking place throughout our city – so be sure to check out all that is on offer and book early to avoid disappointment,” Cr Lake added.
