The 2026 Pacing for Pink campaign has officially drawn to a close, with the harness racing community coming together throughout May at Club Menangle to raise $15,489 for the McGrath Foundation.

This year marked a significant milestone for the McGrath Foundation, which has supported Australia for 20 years providing free McGrath Cancer Care Nurses to support individuals and families experiencing cancer.

Club Menangle’s donation has been made possible not only through on track success during the campaign but also through funds raised and awareness generated at the annual Coutts Pacing for Pink Race Night.

“It’s another fantastic fundraising result achieved with a total of$15,489 raised through on track success and the support of our harness racing and local community throughout the month of May at Club Menangle,’’ says Bruce Christison – Club Menangle chief executive officer.

Our sincere thanks go to Coutts Lawyers & Conveyancers, a local Macarthur firm that joined our marquee race night as naming rights partner. We are also extremely appreciative of the support received from all sponsors and attendees who contributed to the success of the Coutts Pacing for Pink Race Night.

“Club Menangle committed to supporting the McGrath Foundation through our on-track donation initiative, contributing $200 for each win recorded by a driver wearing pink pants, $200 for each female trainer victory, and $200 for every win recorded by a horse carrying saddlecloth number eight during the campaign.

“Across the month, there were 42 qualifying wins at Club Menangle. Ashleigh Delosa led the driving tally with eight wins while local trainer KerryAnn Morris recorded five training victories. Saddlecloth number eight also saluted on 10 occasions throughout the campaign,’’ he said.

Marg Watson, the Pacing for Pink coordinator said Club Menangle “do an amazing job’’.

“It is always exciting to learn which drivers and trainers have been instrumental in securing an extra $200 for the cause and certainly keeps the interest alive throughout the month. Congratulations on an outstanding effort in 2026.”

Luisa Gaetani, partner and accredited family law specialist at Coutts Lawyers and Conveyancers said the firm were proud to be the naming rights partner for Pacing for Pink in 2026 .

“We know the incredible impact this will have on members of our community, in supporting those surviving breast cancer, and their families,’’ Ms Gaetani said.

“We look forward to continuing to work with Club Menangle as the naming rights partner for Pacing For Pink in 2027, and in being involved in the event for years to come.”
