Once a year, Liverpool’s ClubGrants scheme seeks community applications from eligible organisations to support valuable projects and services.
The scheme is delivered by Liverpool Council in conjunction with local participating clubs and is calling for applications, which will close at 5pm, Friday, April 10.
Liverpool City Mayor, Ned Mannoun, said this program has the capacity to provide eligible local community organisations with a nice funding boost to assist the successful organisations with the delivery of additional services.
“I highly recommend that organisations take advantage of this unique opportunity and tap into the pool of funds allocated for the benefit of the community by local participating clubs.
“The scheme opens for funding only once a year and aims to assist with the development of worthy community projects and enhance local services,” he said.
Local Clubs participating are the Austral Bowling Club, John Edmondson VC Memorial Club Liverpool, Kemps Creek Sporting and Bowling Club, Liverpool Catholic Club, Mounties and the Moorebank Sports Club.
The clubs contribute funding to the ClubGRANTS scheme to assist community-based organisations that are running projects or services in community welfare, development, health and employment assistance.
Liverpool Council supports and facilitates the scheme through the ClubGRANTS Committee, in cooperation with local clubs, the Council of Social Service of NSW and the NSW Department of Family and Community Services.
