Man exposed himself to young girls in Airds

Police are appealing for information following a reported child approach in the Campbelltown area earlier in the week.

About 4pm on Monday two girls aged 13 and 15 were walking near Riley Park, Airds, when a man unknown to them approached the pair and exposed himself.

The girls ran away towards Riverside Drive and reported the incident.

Officers from Campbelltown Police Area Command are investigating the incident.

Police say they would like to speak with a man who may be able to assist them with their inquiries.

He is described as being of Middle Eastern appearance, about 180cm tall, with a medium build, short black hair, with a beard and a moustache.

The man is depicted wearing an orange fluoro top and trackpants, with white paint on the top and no shoes.

He was seen driving an early model white Kia Cerato.

Police are urging anyone with information or who may have dashcam footage from the area at the time of the incident, to come forward and contact police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

A man has died following a single vehicle crash overnight on the M7 Motorway near Cecil Hills.

Police say about 7.30pm emergency services were called after receiving reports a truck had rolled and caught on fire.

The male driver and sole occupant of the truck died at the scene. He is yet to be formally identified but is believed to be aged in his 50s.

Fire and Rescue NSW extinguished the fire.

Officers from Liverpool City Police Area Command established a crime scene, which was forensically examined by specialist police.

As inquiries continue, anyone with information or dashcam footage is urged to call police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
