Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre tomorrow, Saturday, holds the second session of Roy Marchant’s Draw Together workshop titled Uniforms.

Uniforms examines the work of Australian artist Baden Pailthorpe, which is included in the exhibition Guarding the Home Front at Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre until May 17.

Pailthorpe’s work examines military order, uniform and camouflage and transforms them into a series of kaleidoscopic patterns and unexpected rhythms displayed through a series of audio visual installations.

Participants of all ages are welcome to this workshop which will help you create large colour drawings and simple optical devices that investigate this remix of order and abstraction.
Draw Together is a regular drawing workshop held twice during every exhibition at Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre.

All ages and abilities are welcome; simply bring your enthusiasm for art. You will be guided through a series of individual and collaborative drawing exercises responding directly to the exhibited artworks.

Appreciate the value of drawing, develop visual thinking skills and create something new in an inspiring atmosphere.

Reserve your spot now or drop in on the day.
