Learn what to do in emergency

To assist seniors, people with disability, their families and carers in being prepared for emergencies, Campbelltown City Council will host a free Emergency Management Open Access Forum this Wednesday, August 20.

Featuring information stalls and guest speakers from local emergency services and service providers, including the SES, NSW Police, Fire and Rescue Service, Endeavour Energy and Australian Red Cross, the forum is a great opportunity to gain valuable tips on being prepared for an emergency, particularly in the lead-up to the storm and bushfire seasons.

The forum highlights the collaborative approach taken to emergency management. It provides a valuable platform for seniors, people with disability, their families and carers to learn more about preparing for an emergency, so that they can protect themselves or receive assistance when it is needed most.

The Open Access Forum will be held at the Greg Percival Community Centre, Oxford Road, Ingleburn, from 10am to 1.30pm. A light lunch will be provided.

RSVP to the forum by phoning 4645 4579 or email disability@campbelltown.nsw.gov.au
