More than 125 investors, developers and invited guests felt the buzz at yesterday’s Invest Liverpool forum at Casula Powerhouse.
They were there to learn about the trends and opportunities for investing in Liverpool.
The forum was opened by the Minister for Industry, Resources and Energy, Anthony Roberts and hosted by Mayor Ned Mannoun.
“It’s an exciting time to be investing in Liverpool,” Mayor Ned Mannoun said.
“Liverpool is the regional city for the Great South West and is emerging as a key player in Western Sydney’s rise as the economic engine room of the State and the Nation.”
Minister Roberts said other councils should look at the way that Liverpool is preparing for its future.
“This government is excited that Liverpool has a vision and a plan for their area that is considerate, supportive and sensitive to their community,” Mr Roberts said.
Guests learnt about the trends and opportunities in Liverpool from a forum which included the Mayor and CEO of Liverpool Council Carl Wulff and a panel of experts made up of:
