The health district’s AGM on November 3 is a chance for the public to ask questions of the board.

If you have any concerns about any part of our local hospitals you can express them at the next annual general meeting of South Western Sydney Local Health District (SWSLHD).

The meeting is open to the public, who can ask questions of the SWSLHD board.

Proceedings will include a reflection on the past year by SWSLHD board chair, Professor Phillip Harris.

There will also be a presentation by chief executive, Amanda Larkin, about achievements, developments in health care and innovation taking place across the District.

Ms Larkin said the meeting will also give those attending a chance to meet and ask questions of the District’s senior management.

“We encourage our community to come along to the meeting to hear what has been achieved and ask questions,” she said.

She thanked all health service staff and volunteers who have worked consistently over the year to provide high quality care to patients and consumers.

“I would like to thank all staff and volunteers who positively impact our patients’ lives every day and play a crucial role in providing high calibre health care,” Ms Larkin said.

“All staff help make our health service great and I can’t thank them enough for what they do,” she said.
