3copsPolice are appealing for witnesses after a girl was approached at Oran Park twice in six days.

About 3.20pm on Tuesday, June 16, a 12 year old girl was riding a bicycle home from school on Oran Park Drive near Peter Brock Drive, when a white Toyota utility began following her.

The girl became aware of the vehicle and cut through a street and the vehicle was unable to follow. She reported the incident to her parents but it was not reported to police at the time.

About 7.40am yesterday the girl was riding to school when she noticed the same vehicle following her on Moffat Street.

The vehicle stopped close to the girl and the driver looked closely at her before doing a u-turn and driving from the area.

The girl reported the incident to staff at her school and her parents.

Police were called and conducted extensive searches of the area, but the man or his vehicle were not located.

Officers from Camden Local Area Command are investigating the incidents and are seeking CCTV to identify the vehicle.

Detectives would like to speak with a man who may be able to assist with inquiries.

He was described as being in his 20s, having olive complexion and green eyes. He was last seen wearing a fluoro jacket and a white t-shirt.
