George Kapiniaris stars in Zorba the Freak! at Casula Powerhouse on Friday, February 20.

Let’s go Greek in 2015, endaxi?

How do we do that? Easy, by booking your seats for the comedy Zorba the Freak on at Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre on Friday, February 20.

Zorba the Freak, which features comic actor George Kapiniaris, is a very funny way to look at what it’s like growing up Greek in Australia.

Kapiniaris returns from the ever popular The Good, The Bad and The Ethnic to bring you his Greek/Australian bilingual one man show supported by some very special guests, including Tommy Tsonis, bouzouki player extraordinaire and Nikita Ellenis and Maria Stavropoulou in their classic musical comedy performance of Thanasi and Afroditi.

This may be all Greek to you, but Kapiniaris is one of Australia’s best loved comedy, music and TV stars.

He had a starring role in the hugely popular Wogs Out of Work stage show alongside Nick Giannopoulos.

Kapiniaris also appeared on the classic TV show Acropolis Now, as well as Underbelly, Kick and The Flying Doctors.
