Panda Warmer sounds like a big cuddly toy.

But it’s actually medical equipment used to resuscitate and assist newborn babies.

A fundraiser for the Kids of Macarthur Foundation called Macca’s for a Causewill run during all of June toraise enough money to purchase a Panda Warmer for the delivery unit of Campbelltown Hospital.

Fifteen McDonald’s restaurants across Macarthur will participate in Macca’s for a Cause.

It will start on Saturday, June 1 and run for the entire month, with a Family Fun Day to be held mid-month on Saturday, June 15.

The fun day will be a mini McHappy Day across the 15 stores and any donations will go to the Kids of Macarthur Health Foundation.

Five cents from every transaction will be donated to the foundation and will go directly to help sick babies born in Macarthur.
