Police have released the image of a man who may be able to assist with their inquiries into a break-in and the theft and attempted theft of four cars in Camden LAC yesterday.
Kyle Naylor, pictured at left, is aged 25 years old and described as of Caucasian appearance, of medium build, 180 to 185cm tall.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts should contact police immediately, either Camden Local Area Command or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
A second man arrested over this incident was due to face court today as investigations continued into yesterday’s incident.
Just before 1pm yesterday, police from Camden Traffic and Highway Patrol Command spotted an alleged stolen Holden utility travelling along Remembrance Drive at Tahmoor.
The officers followed the Holden until it crashed into a gutter on Antill Street, Picton.
Two men in the car ran into a nearby house and allegedly stole the keys to a Dodge Nitro SUV.
The Dodge was driven west along Anthill Street and then onto the Old Hume Highway where it stopped outside a community leisure centre car park.
The men exited the Dodge and one of them allegedly approached a man and a woman in a Holden sedan and attempted to gain control of the vehicle.
Officers arrested a 29-year-old man inside the Holden after a short struggle where capsicum spray was deployed.
The other man approached a woman in a Nissan SUV and forced her out of the vehicle before driving off.
The Nissan was located abandoned a short time later in Tahmoor, where it was secured for forensic analysis.
The 29-year-old man was taken to Narellan Police Station where he was charged with several offences.
They included aggravated breaking and entering, robbery in company and an outstanding warrant.
The man was refused bail to appear at Campbelltown Local Court today and is expected to face further charges in relation to the alleged theft of vehicles and driving offences.
Inquiries are continuing.
