Woman charged over fatal Ingleburn brawl

A woman has been charged as investigations continue into the death of a man following a brawl outside an Ingleburn home in May last year.

Detectives from Campbelltown City Police Area Command commenced an investigation resulting in two juveniles being charged with murder.

They remain before the courts.

As inquiries continued, detectives yesterday (Wednesday, March 18) arrested a 27-year-old woman at Campbelltown Police Station.

She was interviewed and later charged with concealing a serious indicatable offence and accessory after the fact to murder.

She was refused bail and will appear in Campbelltown Local Court today (Thursday, March 19).

On Friday, May 24, 2019, just before 9.40pm, emergency services were called to Chester Road, Ingleburn, after reports of a brawl involving a large group of people.

The brawl is believed to have started during a party at a home on Chester Road, before it spilled onto the street.

Upon the arrival of officers from Campbelltown City Police Area Command the crowds began to disperse.

An 18-year-old man was located on the roadway with serious head injuries.

He was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics, who conveyed him to Liverpool Hospital, where he later died.
