The Small Business Bus will be in Campbelltown on Tuesday, March 8.

If you are a small business operator in Macarthur facing challenges – and who isn’t – help in the form of expert advice is coming to you.

The Small Biz Bus will be in Campbelltown next Tuesday, March 8, from 8am to 3pm armed with free expert advice for local business people.

It will be conveniently parked outside the Campbelltown Council building in Queen Street.

The Small Biz Bus travels around NSW to provide face-to-face, personalised advice and information based on individual circumstances.

It also connects small business owners with local services and local Small Biz Connect advisors.

Services are provided by independent business advisors with real small business experience and are completely confidential.

So whether you’re looking for advice to help you grow your business or even start one from scratch, maybe get a different perspective or learn some marketing insights, the Small Business Bus could help you out.

All you have to do to book a business advisory session on the bus when it’s in Campbelltown is call 1300 134 359 or visit the Small Business website.

The NSW Government established the Office of the NSW Small Business Commissioner in 2011.

The role of the Office of the Small Business Commissioner is to support the sustainability of small businesses in NSW by:

• acting as an advocate where a small business has been dealt with unfairly and speaking up for them within government;

• providing information, strategic and procedural advice,

• confidential mediation and dispute resolution services;

• reaching out to regional small businesses through the Regional Activation Program, which is engaging regional communities

• to activate small business opportunities through specialised programs, assistance and tools;

• supporting small business operators from culturally diverse backgrounds by translating information into a number of languages and by offering multicultural business advisors to provide one-on-one assistance to Arabic, Vietnamese, Chinese and Korean-speaking small business owners;

• engaging local councils through the Small Business Friendly Councils program, an Australian first, which encourages and empowers local councils to work proactively with small business communities across NSW.
