Detectives are continuing to conduct inquiries following the death of a baby boy at a home in Oran Park.
About 4.40pm yesterday (Thursday), emergency services responded after concerns were raised for the welfare of residents at a home at Oran Park.
Upon arrival, officers attached to Camden Police Area Command found a four-month-old boy unconscious and unresponsive.
NSW Ambulance paramedics commenced CPR at the scene before the infant was taken to Campbelltown Hospital, however, was unable to be revived.
A 32-year-old woman was arrested at the home and taken to Narellan Police Station before being taken to Liverpool Hospital for an assessment.
The home has been examined by specialist forensic officers and Camden Detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the child’s death.

In a separate incident, three people have been injured when a car left the road and hit a power pole in Minto in the early hours of this morning.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of Collins Promenade and Cumberland Road about 2.45am and found a power pole had snapped at the base by the impact.
The female driver has suffered possible spinal and shoulder injuries.
A male front-seat passenger has suffered serious leg injuries, while a man travelling in the back seat has suspected spinal injuries.
All were taken to Liverpool Hospital.
Officers attached to the Crash Investigation Unit are examining the scene.
