A 15 year old teenager has been arrested following an alleged armed robbery at Eagle Vale High School just after lunch today.

Police and emergency services were called to the school in Drysdale Street (pictured above) around 12.40pm following reports of an armed robbery outside the school grounds.

On arrival, officers from Campbelltown Police Area Command were told two students, who were off school grounds, had been threatened by another male student, who was armed with a glass bottle and demanding personal items.

One of the other students was allegedly struck on the hand with the bottle, and sustained a small cut, before the boy fled the area on foot.

A search was conducted with the assistance of the Dog Unit and the 15-year-old boy was arrested on Martens Way just before 1pm.

He has been taken to Campbelltown Police Station.

Inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident are under way.

In other police news, a ninth person has been charged in relation to the death of a man after a brawl outside an Ingleburn home last year.

Detectives arrested a 24-year-old man at a house in Norwich Road, Ingleburn earlier in the week.

The man was taken to Campbelltown Police Station and charged with murder

He was refused bail and appeared at Campbelltown Local Court on Wednesday, where he was refused bail and remanded in custody to appear in the same court on July 14.

Detectives from Campbelltown investigating this incident have so far charged eight other people who remain before the courts. Just before 9.40pm on May 24, 2019, emergency services were called to Chester Road, Ingleburn, after reports of a brawl involving a large group of people.

The brawl is believed to have begun during a party at a home on Chester Road, before it spilled onto the street. Upon the arrival of officers from Campbelltown City Police Area Command, the crowds began to disperse.

An 18-year-old man was located on the road with serious head injuries. He was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics, who took him to Liverpool Hospital, where he later died.
