Community grants call: MP Chris Hayes out and about in his electorate.

What could your community group do with $20,000?

The Fowler electorate will receive $150,000 from the Federal Government for small capital works projects that help make our local community a better place to live.

Federal Member for Fowler, Chris Hayes MP is inviting local incorporated not for profit community organisations to apply for the grants funding between $5,000 and $20,000.

“I encourage local community organisations to contact me regarding a funding grant of up to $20,000,” Mr Hayes said.

The Fowler Consultative Committee will be made up of community representatives, which will help consider all proposals and make recommendations to the Department of Infrastructure and Regional Development.

The Stronger Communities Programme requires matched contributions in cash or in kind, on at least a dollar for dollar basis.

Expressions of Interest close at 5pm on Friday, September 11.
