This Saturday local comic book enthusiasts will be in heaven. Many of them will don their favourite comic book hero costumes as they join in a vibrant celebration of pop culture at Comic Book Day 2026.
From 10am to 3pm, comic book fans of all ages will enjoy a variety of free activities and creative workshops inspired by pop culture franchises.
The event will take place in the heart of Campbelltown – inside Campbelltown Library, HJ Daley in Downtown Plaza, Queen Street.
Comic Book Day is one of Campbelltown City Library’s biggest annual events and this year is shaping up to be awesome.
Highlights will include a meet and greet with a K-Pop Demon Hunters Huntrix impersonator’s group, an Artist Alley, scavenger hunt, cosplay competition, photo booth and much more.
This year will mark the first time that Comic Book Day will be held at its new home, the city library having being relocated to its new address, 147-157 Queen Street, Campbelltown.
“Comic Book Day is a fantastic chance for everyone to join together and celebrate dedicated comic fans in our community,” says Mayor of Campbelltown Darcy Lound, who s pictured above with some local comic book fans.
“Our libraries continue to offer inclusive and welcoming programs for all people of all ages. Comic Book Day is just one of the many popular initiatives that our great library team runs each year,” Cr Lound said.
“It’s shaping up to be one of our most exciting Comic Book Day’s yet. I can’t wait to see you there.”
