Wests Tigers have signed Bulldogs fullback Moses Mbye for four seasons, starting from 2019.
The 24 year old has played 92 NRL games since making his debut in 2014.
Wests Tigers head coach Ivan Cleary said he looked forward to working with Mbye.
“Moses is a talented young man and we look forward to having him join Wests Tigers next season,” Cleary said.
“He’s developed into an exciting player and I know he’ll bring a lot to our club, both on and off the field.”
Meanwhile Cleary has made just one important change in naming his 21-man squad to take on the Sydney Roosters for their Round 13 clash at Allianz Stadium this Sunday, June 3.
Following a gritty, come from behind 14-10 win over the Bulldogs on Sunday, Elijah Taylor replaces Jacob Liddle at hooker.
Liddle, who did not have his best game after starting against the Bulldogs, drops out of the 21 man squad.
As for Elijah Taylor it will be the New Zealand international’s 150th NRL match.
Matt Eisenhuth returns to the starting side at lock, while Josh Aloiai and Tim Grant join the bench, with Sauaso Sue dropping out.
Sue joins Chris McQueen, Pita Godinet and Kevin Naiqama as the four reserve players for Sunday’s game.
Benji Marshall will formally captain the team this weekend.
Wests defeated the Roosters in their first encounter earlier this season.
With four Roosters players selected for Origin I, the Tigers will fancy their chances of making it two out of two against the glamour inner city club.
One thing that won’t help them is the lack of success with the boot of Esan Marsters.
The young centre is having a great season with the ball but his conversion rate is nowhere near where it should be to help the club win close matches.
With Wests Tigers Intrust Super Premiership side, Western Suburbs Magpies, on the bye this weekend, the club’s Jersey Flegg side will take on the Dragons at Campbelltown Sports Stadium on Saturday, June 2.
