Holden Captiva: stylish new design the resulkt of merging two previous models.

Holden’s current Captiva range has captivated buyers for the past two years with its combination of economical performance, practical and versatile interiors and high levels of safety and driver comfort.

As we go forward into 2016 there will be even more reasons to take a renewed look at one of Australia’s most popular SUVs.

First up, to make things simpler, Holden has put to bed the Captiva 5 and Captiva 7 distinction by combining both vehicles into one, stylish new Captiva design that will continue to be offered in both five or seven seats and with a range of diesel and petrol powertrain options.

♦ The new design features:

• A new grille
• A new front fascia
• LED daytime running lights
• Body-coloured cladding
• 19-inch alloy wheels on the top of the range LTZ.

Inside the contemporary design theme has also been applied to the redesigned centre stack that now houses a significantly upgraded infotainment system that will keep the whole family entertained and connected on the road.

The new system combines Holden’s latest version of its innovative MyLink system with a 7-inch touchscreen that incorporates a rear view camera as standard and is fully compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

These two applications replicate your mobile phone’s screen on the MyLink touchscreen and enable direct control of apps through the system to safely send, read and reply to text messages and calls, access music and navigate using Apple/Google maps.

As a popular family SUV, the Captiva is well equipped for safety with Park Assist and ISOFIX child seat fittings, with the top of the range LTZ model also offered with advanced driver aids including Side Blind Zone Alert and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.

Holden’s executive director of sales, Peter Keley, says that the Captiva’s new design and connectivity features ensure that the car remains an attractive option for those with busy family lives.

[social_quote duplicate=”no” align=”default”]“The Captiva is a practical and flexible SUV, designed for families on-the-go that need the space but also want to look good and enjoy their road trips,” Keley says.[/social_quote]

Adding to Captiva’s fresh appeal, the large SUV, like all Holdens, is also covered by the company’s Lifetime Capped Price Service program, giving customers complete peace of mind and great value.
