Twitter Australia’s Head of Mid-Market Sales Suzy Nicoletti is the keynote speaker at this year’s Small Business Week presenting “How Tweet it is… The Power of the Little Blue Bird for Business!”.
Liverpool City Council and the South West Sydney Business Enterprise will present the second annual Liverpool Small Business Week from 15 to 19 September.
Liverpool Mayor Ned Mannoun said the week would feature a series of targeted small business support events with the highlight being the social media marketer.
“This is the first time Twitter has visited South West Sydney,” Mayor Mannoun said.
“Social media can be one of the most important tools for small business, but some small businesses shy away from it.
“Suzy will help demystify Twitter, providing inspiration for beginners and tips for regular users to align social media with their business goals.”
Suzy heads Twitter Australia’s Online Marketing channel, focusing on helping clients in the mid-market, and small and medium business space, to achieve their business goals online through Twitter.
Before joining Twitter, Suzy worked at Google for eight years, splitting her time between the San Francisco and Sydney offices. In her last three years at Google Australia she set up and established Google’s Education team, with a large focus on International student recruitment.
There will also be a panel discussion on digital marketing.
Other events aimed at supporting new and existing businesses include:
- A free networking event for retailers and site tour of Costco.
- A visit from the Small Biz Bus at Casula Shopping Centre with free, confidential one-on-one business consultations,
- A free Business Start-Up Essentials Seminar, and
- A presentation aimed at supporting local Liverpool medical businesses and site tour held at the Ingham Medical Research Institute.
