Luke Brooks will play his 100th NRL game for Wests Tigers when they take on St George Illawarra Dragons at Jubilee Oval on Sunday.

With Benji Marshall named to partner him in the halves, Tigers fans will keep their fingers crossed Brooks will celebrate the milestone with a win over the competition pacesetters.

Victory and the two premiership points will also keep the club’s faint finals hopes alive.

However St George are coming off a heavy defeat at the hand of Melbourne Storm and will be keen to atone in front of their fans.

The Tigers are expected to be a little more creative in attack, something that has been missing in action for much of the 2018 NRL season.

Coach Ivan Cleary has made a number of changes to the side that was defeated by the Gold Coast Titans in Round 16 at Leichhardt Oval.

Benji Marshall returns to the team after being sidelined with a calf injury, replacing Josh Reynolds who is out with a shoulder complaint.

David Nofoaluma and Ben Matulino also return from injury this week, with new recruits Moses Mbye and Robbie Farah both set to play for the club for the second time this year.

Following two poor consecutive performances, the key for the Tigers and victory will be playing well for the full 80 minutes.
