The Envirobank reverse vending machine is good for the environment and local business, says Camden Council

This year Camden Council will again host the Envirobank Mobile Reverse Vending Machine at the Camden Show, Friday and Saturday, March 11-12.

Envirobank is a public recycling initiative that engages the community by making recycling fun and rewarding.

The public are rewarded for depositing their empty aluminium can or PET plastic bottle into the machine, diverting these materials from landfill and our waterways.

“As a local business we invite you to be a part of this initiative by promoting your business through rewards and incentives offered to people that use Envirobank,’’ says council.

“Your business can provide offers from instant prizes to discounts on your products or services.’’

Why should your business consider using the Envirobank Mobile Reverse Vending Machine?

Council says that it demonstrates a business’ commitment to the environment.

But participation in Envirobank also allows you to engage and speak directly to your audience, says council.

And it’s an opportunity to increase your brand awareness as there are marketing opportunities to promote a product or a service through participation in Envirobank Mobile Reverse Vending Machine.

To encourage participants at the 2016 Camden Show to recycle their empty cans and PET plastic bottles prizes will be offered via an entry into a draw.

Council would like to hear from local firms which may like to donate a prize for this wonderful environmental initiative.

If you are interested in making a prize donation, promoting your business or require additional information, please contact Denise Franovich on 4645 5007 by Friday, February 19.
