Turn on your crimpers and dust off your cummerbunds and ruffle frocks because Youth Solutions will be celebrating the greats of the 80s next month.

The big annual fundraising event for Youth Solutions on Saturday, July 28 at The Cube in Campbelltown Catholic Club will be a fun celebration of 1980s fashion and music.

Youth Solutions was founded in 1988 so the night will also celebrate its 30 years of service to local youth causes.

As it does every year, the night will also help raise much needed funds for Youth Solutions youth drug and alcohol prevention and health promotion programs, campaigns and services.

“Our charity event is our largest fundraiser of the year and we rely on the generosity of the Macarthur and Wingecarribee community to come together and help us raise funds to support our programs and services,’’ says Youth Solutions CEO, Geraldine Dean.

“We thought we would put on a 1980s party for our 30th birthday to celebrate the incredible journey we have been on since we were founded in 1988,” she said.

“Our fundraising committee work hard behind the scenes each year to put on an exciting event and this year is no exception.

The night will feature themed entertainment and will be hosted by dynamic duo, Josh and Ally from C91.3FM’s Breakfast Show.

Guests will also be treated to a three course meal and have the opportunity to participate in many fundraising activities which includes prizes donated by businesses in the region.

We are grateful to have the support of dedicated volunteers, sponsors and donors who make such an impact on the success of our charity,’’ says Mrs Dean.

“Together we are all taking actions to help keep our young people safe and resilient.”
