An 18 year old man has been charged over an allegedly targeted  home invasion at Rosemeadow earlier this month.

And a teenage boy, aged 17, has been charged with firearm, drug and other offences in relation to the incident.

About 3am on May 6 officers from Campbelltown Police Area Command attended a home on Copperfield Drive, Rosemeadow, after three men allegedly threatened a 24-year-old female occupant with a firearm during a home invasion before leaving empty handed.

Following extensive inquiries, detectives, with the assistance of the Tactical Operations Unit, executed a search warrant at a home in Macquarie Fields last Thursday morning.

A 17 year old boy was arrested, and it will be alleged police located firearms and drugs at the location.

Shortly after 10am, police arrested an 18 year old man along Malcolm Way, Rosemeadow. Police will allege the man was involved in the home invasion.

They were taken to Campbelltown Police Station, where the 17 year old was charged with nine offences, including having a firearm, goods in custody, possess and supply drugs.

The boy was refused bail to appear at a children’s court last Friday, where he was remanded in custody to re-appear at the same court yesterday (May 19).

The man was charged with robbery while armed with a dangerous weapon, and other offences.

He has been refused bail to appear at Campbelltown Local Court on July 9.
