From tomorrow, Saturday, August 5, X-Golf Macarthur opens its doors, which will mean local golfers will have a brand new option when they feel like playing a round or two.
Rain, hail or shine they will be able to have a hit at the X-Golf simulator centre in Narellan.
Indeed they will be able to experience the game on courses from around the world without the fear of losing balls or bad weather.
The X-Golf simulator centre was first established in Victoria and now the first indoor in NSW is about to open its doors right here in the Macarthur region.
Licence development manager of X-Golf Australia Peter Nolan said: “We’re excited to finally bring X-Golf to NSW and the Macarthur region.”
X-Golf Macarthur will offer players exceptional accuracy and realism through the use of camera systems, infrared lasers, impact sensors and advanced gaming software.
X-Golf is a great way to play and improve your game in a relaxed environment.
The centre has many different options for experienced golfers, amateurs and even kids.
With an emphasis on group play, with food and beverages available at the kiosk, X-golf is ideal for birthday parties, work/corporate functions and bucks’ nights.
Serious competitors can grab some friends and join the X-League – a local weekly competition where teams compete against each other in a round-robin style tournament.
For the kids, the Mario Kart-style Moonlight CC course is a great way to have fun, while learning how to play the game.
For individuals who want to improve their game, the simulator is great for practice, providing detailed analysis shot by shot, with coaching also available from the professional staff at X-Golf.
You can play on some of the world’s best courses and finish a full 18-hole course in around 90 minutes.
The simulator costs $30 per hour for single players and $60 per hour for groups of up to six, with golf club hire $10 per set.
Macarthur X-Golf complex is located on 1/5 Dunn Road, Smeaton Grange, near Narellan.
The complex boasts five simulators and can host up to 75 people.
