Wollondilly Council has launched a new website focussing on business, investment, lifestyle and tourism in the Shire.
The aim is for the website as a place where council can further connect and support local business through the current challenges, as well as promoting the many investment prospects in the area.
“This is a one stop website for community members, local business, future residents and investors, highlighting the amazing opportunities available in Wollondilly,” says Mayor Robert Khan said,
“Wollondilly is working hard to support our existing businesses, facilitating new business investment and generating more local jobs for locals.
“The site will provide potential investors with important facts and information on key projects for the region.
“This is a great time to promote our offerings and proximity to Sydney and the new Western Sydney Airport,” he said.
The website’s “shop and support local’’ message will encourage the community to use Wollondilly goods and services rather than going outside the region.
The site also features a Faces of the Dilly section, introducing visitors to the business community as well as some of Wollondilly’s interesting local characters.
Updates will be provided on the region’s available support programs, local job opportunities, leading industries and available government grants and tender programs.
The website will complement the Business Wollondilly Enewsletter and Business Wollondilly Facebook Group to enable council to reach the local business community with relevant and timely information across their platform of choice.
Council provides a range of services to support local jobs, including dedicated tourism and small business support team and professional planning teams, as well as new duty planning services and new executive planner business investment to facilitate job creating projects.
