Koshigaya Park, one of Campbelltown premier outdoor spaces, will once again be transformed into a winter wonderland when Chill Fest comes to town during the July school holidays.
Chill Fest is Campbelltown’s world of winter fun, featuring a range of family-friendly activities and amusements across the two weeks, including winter-themed rides, activities, food and entertainment.
It will be held from Friday, July 1 to Saturday, July 17.
“We’re delighted to finally welcome the community to Chill Fest which promises to be a great day or night out for the family during the upcoming school holidays,” Mayor George Greiss said.
“Previous winter events at Koshigaya Park were a massive hit and the launch of Chill Fest last year was met with much anticipation before we were forced to cancel it, so I’m delighted that it has returned for the community to enjoy,” Cr Greiss said.
Some of the attractions on offer throughout the event include ice skating, the popular ice slide, carnival rides, a spectacular winter light show and live entertainment.
People can also pick up a delicious winter treat from a variety of food trucks or indulge their sweet tooth and toast their own marshmallows.
A two-hour quiet session will be held during the event for people with disability and their carers to enjoy the winter festivities.
Ticket prices, opening times and more event updates will be available closer to the event.

Meanwhile further south, Wollondilly Council has put out a call for buskers and other street performers for its Illuminate Festival of Art & Light on May 21.
