This man is wanted over domestic violence offences

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate this man who is wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant in South Western Sydney.

Michael Achurch, also known as Williams, aged 43, is wanted by virtue of an outstanding arrest warrant in relation to domestic violence related offences.

Officers attached to Camden Police Area Command have commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 180cm tall, of muscular build with brown hair and brown eyes.

He is known to frequent the Mount Annan, Picton and Camden areas and currently police believe he could be be in the Gold Coast or southeast Queensland areas.

Anyone with information about Michael’s whereabouts is urged not to approach him and to contact police immediately.

A man has been charged over number of traffic and assault offences in the Macarthur area.

Just after 6.45pm on Tuesday (August 29), emergency services were called to a service station on Thirlmere Way, Tahmoor, following reports a pedestrian had been hit by a car.

On arrival, officers attached to Camden Police Area Command located the 52-year-old man suffering from scratches and bruises.

Police were told there was an argument involving the man and another driver, who had left the scene.

The injured man was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics.

A 46-year-old man was arrested in Thirlmere about 9.15pm on same day, before being taken to Narellan Police station.

He was charged with driving furiously in a motor vehicle, do or cause bodily harm, drive recklessly or furiously or speed in a manner dangerous and common assault.

He was granted conditional bail to appear at Picton Local Court on October 18.
