Bring it on: The Wanderers will start the new A-League season with two consecutive home matches.

The Western Sydney Wanderers will kick off their 2017/18 A-League campaign season with two consecutive games at Spotless Stadium.

The first will see the Wanderers host Perth Glory in a 6pm clash on Sunday, October 8.

Six days later in round 2 will repeat the home ground action when the Wanderers host Central Coast Mariners on Saturday, October 14.

The first Sydney Derby of the season will be an away game for the Red & Black at Allianz Stadium in Round 3, which will start a run of four away fixtures before a return to Spotless Stadium for Round 7 against Wellington Phoenix.

The Wanderers will only host one Sydney Derby this season on December 9 at ANZ Stadium, where a new Hyundai A-League crowd record is hoped to be set.

The Christmas period will see the start of the Summer of Football with the Wanderers travelling to Newcastle to play against the Jets before the club’s New Year’s Day tradition continues as the Red & Black welcome Melbourne City to ANZ Stadium.

That match marks the beginning of a feast of football for members and fans alike, which includes four games in 12 days to close out the Summer of Football period.

The Wanderers take on fierce rivals Melbourne Victory at home only once this season on January 19 in what’s set to be the club’s first Friday night blockbuster at ANZ Stadium.

The Wanderers will play at home against Newcastle Jets, Wellington Phoenix and Perth Glory in Rounds 20, 22 and 23 respectively; fixtures which bookend Round 21’s Sydney Derby XVIII on Sunday, February 25.

The Wanderers face a tough finish to the season with back-to-back away clashes with both Melbourne sides in Round 24 and Round 25, before closing out the regular season against Adelaide United on April 15 at ANZ Stadium.
