A Vegas Nights theme at this year’s Mayor’s charity gala dinner will bring a touch of the famous US “City of Lights” to Campbelltown on March 2.

The annual mayor’s charity gala dinner is a fun night raising funds for worthy causes.

In 2024, guests will be invited to dress in their most glamorous Vegas-inspired attire and enjoy an evening filled with live entertainment, games, great food and networking with other local businesses and residents in Ottimo House.

The venue is located on a rural property just north of the Campbelltown centre and was previously known as Scenic Hills Riding Ranch.

This year’s mayor’s charity gala dinner will raise funds for youth mental health charity, Humanity Matters.

It will specifically support Humanity Matters’ #feetonthestreet program, which aims to provide marginalised young people with arts and sports activities.

“Humanity Matters do fantastic work to break down barriers for young people who feel marginalised from the wider community and engage directly with youth on the street through their extensive network of workers and outreach programs,” says Campbelltown Mayor George Greiss.

“The Feet on the Street program will connect young people in Campbelltown with sports and arts activities through Humanity Matters’ youth workers, providing them with opportunities for social engagement,” he said.

“We know that this sort of engagement leads to better outcomes for mental health so I’m excited to see a program like this starting in Campbelltown,” he said.

“The gala dinner promises to be a fun evening filled with Vegas-themed entertainment and games as well as fantastic prizes, all in support of an important initiative that will make a real difference in the lives of young people in Campbelltown.

“I strongly encourage local businesses and residents to consider sponsoring the event or buying a ticket to help raise funds for this great cause.”
