There’s just three sleeps left before the 2016 Fisher’s Ghost Festival gets under way this Saturday, November 5.

A week later, on Saturday, November 12, the Street Fair will have something for the whole family.

There will be market stalls, community singers and an inflatable caterpillar, just to mention some of the highlights.

The annual festival celebrates the legend of Australia’s most famous ghost, Fred Fisher, and attracts thousands of people to Campbelltown each year.

The Street Fair is one of its many highlights and will see Queen Street and Mawson Park come alive with colour and activity from 10am to 2pm.

If you’re looking for tasty food, showbags, handmade jewellery, home and lifestyle products, fashion, and lots more, there will be a diverse range of stalls to attract shoppers and browsers to Queen Street, while local dancers will take to the stage on Lithgow Street.

Mawson Park will transform into an entertainment hub with free activities and events for families.

There will be a jam-packed program on stage, featuring Kung Fu Panda, The MacDaddy Duo, the Wests Tigers cheerleaders, a magician and local community singers.

The popular Farm Friends Petting Zoo is back and Cameron the Caterpillar, an inflatable tunnel, will also be loads of fun for children.

Mayor of Campbelltown, Cr George Brticevic, said there would be lots of exciting things to see and do at this year’s Street Fair.

“The Street Fair and the Festival of Fisher’s Ghost in general is an amazing opportunity for our community to come together to celebrate all this city has to offer,’’ he said.

The Festival runs until November 13 and this year’s theme is Ghosts, Ghouls and Graveyards. Visit the website here for details.
