Three men in armed robbery at Ingleburn

Police are investigating following an armed robbery in Ingleburn in the early hours of this morning.

Just after 3am, three men entered a business on Lancaster Street, armed with a firearm.

The men threatened an employee, demanding money.

The men fled with cash.

Officers from Macquarie Fields and Campbelltown Local Area Commands established a crime scene and have commenced investigations.

The employee was not physically injured.

Police are urging anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Police have charged a man over a fatal crash in South West Sydney last year.

About 10.30pm on Saturday, October 7, 2017, emergency services were called to Bringelly Road, Rossmore, following reports a silver Nissan Silvia sedan had crashed into a tree.

A 37-year-old male passenger died at the scene.

The driver, a 36-year-old man, was taken to Liverpool Hospital.

Following inquiries, officers from the Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit on Saturday issued a court attendance notice to the 36-year-old man.

He was charged with dangerous driving occasioning death, dangerous driving occasioning death – manner, negligent driving occasioning death, and drive mid-range PCA.

His licence was also suspended.

The man is due to appear before Liverpool Local Court on Wednesday, February 28.
