Three held as stabbed man is rushed to hospital

crimestoppersPolice are investigating the circumstances which led to a man being stabbed at Warwick Farm this morning. Just after midnight (Monday, September 29), two men, aged 19 and 22, were inside a home on Stroud Street when two other men, aged 20 and 22, allegedly forced entry through the front door.

An altercation occurred between the two pairs of men, resulting in the 20-year-old man sustaining a stab wound to his chest. The man walked away from the location before collapsing on Governor Macquarie Drive at Chipping Norton. A passing motorist contacted Ambulance Paramedics, who arrived and treated the man at the scene. He was taken to Liverpool Hospital in a stable condition with a punctured lung.

Officers from Liverpool Local Area Command attended the home on Stroud Street and arrested the three other men. They were taken to Liverpool Police Station, where they are currently assisting with inquiries.

 

Police are appealing for information after a delivery driver lost two front teeth during a robbery at Macquarie Fields on Saturday night. Shortly before 7pm, a 66-year-old man arrived at a home on Coolabah Place to deliver food. A man approached the delivery driver and punched him several times in the face, causing two of his front teeth to dislodge. The man then took a bag containing cash from the driver and ran away.

The victim drove back to his restaurant on Railway Parade, Glenfield, before contacting police. Officers from Macquarie Fields Local Area Command went to Coolabah Place and established a crime scene. The delivery driver was taken to Liverpool Hospital for treatment to a possible facial fracture.

The man police would like to speak to has been described as being about 185cm tall with a slim build and wearing dark clothing.

 

A bandit armed with a firearm held up a service station at Hoxton Park Road on Friday night.

About 11.25pm, a 23-year-old man working in the service station opened the doors to assist a man believed to be a customer. Police say that when the man entered, he produced a firearm and threatened the employee, demanding cash. The robber fled the scene a short time later towards Calabro Avenue, with cash. He is only described as wearing a black long-sleeve jumper, black tracksuit pants and running shoes.

 

Two men will face court next month over alleged drug and weapon offences following a search warrant in Luddenham on Friday.

Earlier this month, officers attached to Green Valley Local Area Command commenced investigating reports of illegal drug activity in the Luddenham area. Following inquiries, about 2.20pm yesterday on Friday, police executed a search warrant at a home on Blaxland Avenue.

During the search warrant, items allegedly found and seized included: cannabis, methylamphetamine, liquid believed to be used in the manufacturing of illegal drugs, handcuffs, an air pistol, drug paraphernalia, a prohibited weapon believed to be a knuckle duster and mobile phones.

Two men were arrested at the scene and taken to Green Valley Police Station. One of the men, aged 23 years, has been charged with being in possession of a prohibited drug and a weapon. The second man, aged 24 years, has been charged with supplying a prohibited drug. They were granted conditional bail to appear at Liverpool Local Court on Wednesday, October 22.
