Three people have been charged after a hydroponic house was raided and 315 cannabis plants were seized by police in Leumeah yesterday.
About midday officers from Campbelltown Local Area Command drug unit were surveilling a home and a motor vehicle in Leumeah Road.
Officers attempted to find out if anyone was in the premises and knocked on the door, which was answered by a man who allegedly cried out to other occupants.
Investigators will allege they could smell cannabis and hear the noise of extraction fans.
A crime scene was declared and a search warrant was sought at Campbelltown Local Court.
Police will allege that during the search officers located 315 cannabis plants.
A 65-year-old man and two women, aged 41 and 39, were arrested and taken to Campbelltown Police Station.
All three people were charged with the production of the large commercial quantity of prohibited drug.
They were all refused bail to appear at Campbelltown Local Court today, Wednesday, May 24).

♦ In other local police news, a woman will face court after allegedly assaulting an ambulance officer in Ingleburn yesterday.
Just after 1pm NSW Ambulance paramedics were called to Campbelltown Council’s Ingleburn library on the corner of Oxford and Cumberland Road, Ingleburn, after reports of a concern for welfare.
Paramedics attended and treated a woman, before requesting she attend a hospital.
While walking to the ambulance, the woman, without notice, allegedly grabbed the ambulance officer by the throat.
Other ambulance officers were able to intervene and notified police.
Officers from Macquarie Fields Local Area Command attended and arrested a 25-year-old woman.
She was taken to Macquarie Fields Police Station and charged with common assault.
The woman was granted conditional bail to appear at Campbelltown Local Court on Monday, June 26.
The 39-year-old female ambulance officer didn’t require treatment.
