
The execution of a search warrant at a property in Leppington this morning resulted in the arrest of three men, who tried to flee the scene, and the discovery of 5,000 cannabis plants.
About 8am today officers attached to Camden Police Area Command, with the assistance from the South West Regional Enforcement Squad (RES), attended the property on Ingleburn Road, Leppington to execute a search warrant.
Three men fled from the property, but were arrested nearby soon after.
One was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics for a dog bite sustained during the arrest.
During a search of the property, officers allegedly located approximately 5,000 cannabis plants.
Specialist officers are currently continuing to examine the scene.
The three men – aged 36, 43, and 39 – were taken to Narellan Police Station.

A 10 year old girl reported missing from South Western Sydney has ben found.
Ayah Naji, aged 10, was last seen outside Campbelltown Railway Station about 2:30pm yesterday (Wednesday, February 5).
When she could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Campbelltown City Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.
