Police have released CCTV vision and are appealing for public assistance following house break-ins at Narellan and Harrington Park over the weekend.
About 4.30am on Sunday (May 21), police were called to a home in William Campbell Avenue, Harrington Park, after the occupant disturbed two men who had broken in.
Both men ran from the home.
Officers from Camden Local Area Command attended and stopped a car nearby.
The driver, a 22-year-old woman was arrested.
She was taken to Narellan Police Station and charged with aggravated break, enter and steal, driving without ever having obtained a driver’s licence and with being in possession of a prohibited drug.
A few hours earlier on the same day, at around 11am, police were called to a home in Woodlands Crescent, Narellan after reports a man had broken in and fallen asleep inside.
Officers from Camden Local Area Command attended and arrested an 18-year-old man.
He was taken to Narellan Police Station and charged with two counts of aggravated break, enter and steal, stealing from a motor vehicle and with having goods in custody.
Both appeared at Campbelltown Local Court yesterday (Monday, May 22) and they were refused bail to reappear at the same court on July 19.
Detectives have now released CCTV vision of a third person who may be able to assist them with their inquiries.
The man depicted is described as being Caucasian appearance, aged between 18 and 25, of a slim build.
He is wearing a grey hooded jumper and dark pants.
Detectives are also appealing for any witnesses or anyone in the Narellan or Harrington Park area who may have had their car or home broken into over the weekend to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
