Two teenage boys are in police custody after a public place shooting and pursuit in Eagle Vale and Raby in the early hours of this morning.
About 2am officers attached to Campbelltown City Police Area Command were called to a home on Sapphire Place, Eagle Vale, after reports that shots had been fired.
Shortly after, responding police observed and attempted to stop an allegedly stolen white hatchback travelling on Eagle Vale Road.
When the vehicle failed to stop as directed, a pursuit was initiated.
After a short time later, the vehicle crashed into a tree on Thunderbolt Drive, where three occupants ran from the vehicle.
With the assistance of PolAir, a search was launched in the nearby area.
A short time later, officers located and arrested two teenage boys, aged 15 and 17, nearby on Dakota Place and Thunderbolt Drive, Raby.
They were taken to Campbelltown Police Station, where inquiries continue.
During a search of the stolen vehicle, officers allegedly located and seized a firearm which will undergo forensic examination.
Crime scenes have been established and an investigation into the incidents is under way.
There have been no reports of any injuries.

In a separate incident, a man has died after a crash in Lindesay Street, Campbelltown this morning.
About 1am, emergency services were called to Lindesay Street after reports of a crash involving a car and motorcycle.
Officers attached to Campbelltown City Police Area Command responded along with NSW Ambulance paramedics, who treated the rider.
The rider, a man believed to be in his 20s, died at the scene. He is yet to be formally identified.
The driver, a 34-year-old woman, was uninjured and assessed by Ambulance paramedics as a precaution.
A crime scene was established and an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash is under way.
