James Tedesco returns from injury for the Wests Tigers.
He’s back! Wests Tigers gun fullback James Tedesco has been named to make his return from injury in Sunday’s clash with the Roosters.

He’s back.

James “Teddy’’ Tedesco has been rushed back to first grade after being out injured for the past three matches.

Wests Tigers coach Jason Taylor has today included the fullback in a 19-man squad for the Round 13 match against the Sydney Roosters this Sunday, June 5 at Allianz Stadium.

Tedesco will play his first game since round 9 when the Wests Tigers defeated South Sydney.

He comes back to a team brimming with confidence for the first time this year after consecutive victories over Newcastle and Brisbane.

Tedesco also missed the heavy defeat at the hands of the Bulldogs in round 10.

NSW Origin representatives Aaron Woods and Robbie Farah have also been named in the team after missing last weekend’s one point victory over the Broncos at Suncorp Stadium.

With the two Origin players named to return on Sunday, Dene Halatau and Tim Grant move from the starting side to a six-man bench that includes Kyle Lovett and JJ Felise.

Joshua Addo-Carr retains his place on the wing for the NRL side after scoring three tries in three matches, forcing Jordan Rankin to fullback in the Intrust Super Premiership side to play Penrith.

Justin Hunt will return from a neck injury in that match at Leichhardt Oval on Saturday, alongside Holden Cup squad members Esan Marsters and Veiru Mapesone who get another opportunity in the senior grade.

Both the club’s Intrust Super Premiership and Holden Cup sides will look to bounce back after their respective lengthy winning streaks both came to an end last weekend.
