Coach Jason Taylor has resisted any temptation to make wholesale changes after five losses on the trot for the Wests Tigers, who clash with Canberra this Saturday.

He may be keen to snap a five match losing streak, but Wests Tigers head coach Jason Taylor has not hit the panic button in his selection of an 18-man squad for the Round 8 clash against the Canberra Raiders this Saturday, April 23 at GIO Stadium.

In fact the side named continues Taylor’s selection consistency, with changes forced on him through injury or suspension.

Sauaso Sue (concussion) returns to bolster the forward pack, forcing a re-shuffle, with Curtis Sironen retaining his starting position and Dene Halatau moving to the interchange bench.

Joshua Addo-Carr and JJ Felise retain their place in the team after both impressing in their debuts last week against Melbourne.

New recruit Joel Edwards, who also made his club debut off the bench in the golden point loss to Melbourne on Sunday has been named as 18th man.

Winger David Nofoaluma remains sidelined with a knee injury after missing the Storm game, while centre Tim Simona is due to return from suspension next week against South Sydney.

NRL squad member Justin Hunt returns from a back injury this week with the Intrust Super Premiership side, with Matthew Eisenhuth also getting his first match of the year.
