Woman in court over Tahmoor domestic violence stabbing

A 39 year old woman charged following a domestic violence stabbing in Wollondilly last week will face court today.

About 5pm last Wednesday (July 8) emergency services were called to Lintina Street, Tahmoor, following reports of a stabbing.

NSW Ambulance paramedics attended and found a 45-year-old man in the front yard of a house suffering multiple stab wounds.

He was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital in a serious condition.

Officers from Camden Police Area Command, Traffic and Highway Patrol Command and the Dog Unit attended another house on Lintina Street and found a 39-year-old woman also with stab wounds.

She was treated by paramedics before being taken to hospital in a serious condition.

A 12-year-old boy was also present at the time, but he was not injured.

Multiple crime scenes were established and examined by specialist officers as part of the investigation into the incident.

About 12pm yesterday (Monday, July 13), the 39-year-old woman was released from hospital, arrested and taken to Liverpool Police Station.

She was charged with grievous bodily harm with intent to murder (Domestic Violence).

The woman was refused bail to appear before Liverpool Local Court today (Tuesday, July 14).
