SUV passenger dies on the scene after Picton Road crash

A male passenger has died when the car he was travelling in crashed along Picton Road this morning.

The fatal single vehicle incident took place near the intersection of Maldon Bridge Road at about 4.45am.

Emergency services responded to reports an SUV had left the road and rolled.

Police say the male passenger of the vehicle who died on the scene is yet to be formally identified.

The driver, also male, was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Liverpool Hospital for further assessment and mandatory testing.

Officers attached to Camden Police Area Command are being assisted at the scene by Fire and Rescue NSW.

Police have established a crime scene and with the assistance of specialist police have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teen missing from Liverpool.

Aaeesha Elsoussi, aged 14, was last outside Liverpool train station about 11.30pm on Thursday.

She is believed to have caught a train to the Redfern area.

Unable to be located since, Aaeesha was reported missing to officers attached to Cumberland Police Area Command, who commenced an investigation into her whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for Aaeesha’s welfare due to her age.

Aaeesha is described as being of Caucasian appearance, slim build, blonde hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing black track pants, a black hoodie, white Tommy Hilfiger shoes and carrying a black handbag.

She is believed to be in the possession of grey tracksuit pants and a black Nike jumper.

She is known to frequent the Carlingford, Blacktown, Liverpool and Redfern areas.

Anyone with information into the whereabouts of Aaeesha is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
