Don’t miss the fun of the fair when the Festival of Fisher’s Ghost Street Fair returns to Mawson Park and Queen Street, Campbelltown in 2017 – but to a new day and time.
Local businesses and community groups are invited to host a stall at the Street Fair, which has moved to the first week of festival, from 11am to 8pm on Saturday, November 4, the same day as the Twilight Street Parade, held in the evening for the first time.
Each year the Street Fair attracts visitors to around 100 stalls in Queen Street selling tasty food, show bags, handmade jewellery, home and lifestyle products, fashion and lots more.
A hive of family friendly entertainment and activities at Mawson Park will complement the colourful, creative and eclectic mix of stalls.
Applications close on Monday, October 9 and stallholders have the choice of operating from 11am to 3pm, or 11am to 8pm.
Entries for the Twilight Street Parade, along Queen Street from 6.30pm, are open until Wednesday, October 11, and community groups, businesses, organisations, schools and sporting clubs are invited to enter their bringing back old school-themed floats.
Mayor of Campbelltown, Cr George Brticevic, said the Festival of Fisher’s Ghost offered locals a variety of opportunities to get involved and celebrate our city’s outstanding community spirit.
“The Street Fair attracts crowds from within Campbelltown and further afield each year because there’s lots for people of all ages to experience and enjoy, and with the fair being held on the same day as the parade, November 4 is going to be a huge day for Campbelltown,” he said.
